Please check your student’s folders for the December 2015 edition of The Dragon Chronicles.

  • New Announcements:
    • After Dec. 18th, ALL unclaimed Lost & Found items will be donated to local charities.
    • The “Oakland Students Smile” Dental Program is under way
    • Mayor’s Community Toy Drive 2015
      • The Oaklanders Assistance Center with help from the Oakland Fire Department has organized one of the city’s largest toy distribution sites. It’s time to share the holiday spirit by putting smiles on the faces of Oakland’s children in need.
      • To receive toys, please bring the following to Oakland City Hall on Saturday Dec.5th from 10 am to 2 pm. Up to 4 children under age 12 per family.
        • proof of income (low income families)
        • proof of Oakland residence (e.g., utility bill)
        • proof of children’s ages (e.g., birth certificate, medical or school ID card)
      • There is no need to line up early since everyone will be registered. If you are unable to come on Dec. 5th, you may sign up on weekdays between 10 am and 4 pm by Dec. 16th.
    • Holiday Food
      • The Alameda County Community Food Bank provides Holiday Food for families in need.
      • If you are interested, please call Alameda County Community Food Bank at 1-800-870-3663 or 510-635-3663, and enter your zip code and household size to find a distribution site near you!
      • Holiday Food is given out on a first come, first served basis.
      • Only one per family per holiday.
