Announcing Lincoln’s 12th Annual Walk-a-Thon, held virtual this year from 11/14-11/30! Students are encouraged to ‘Move for your School’ by recording each 15-minute increment of walking, dancing, playing sports, and other forms of exercise, over the two-week period. Pledges and donations will be collected by students via online pledge form or paper form & envelope. Prizes will be awarded to students for participation, raising the most funds, collecting the most number of pledges, and for performing the most physical activity.

The 2021-2022 School Year is off to a great start. During the 2020-2021 school year, the Golden Dragon Project (PTO) has worked hard to hold a successful virtual walk-a-thon, a joint art contest and lunar new year celebration with Oakland Asian Cultural Center (OACC) and Wa Sung, and the 2021 Lincoln Concert. The Golden Dragon Project is proud to have raised over $30,000 and fund different projects such as art lessons for students, restorative justice, classroom necessities, 2020-2021 Lincoln memory book, help the principal and teachers open classrooms safely this past spring, and the 5th grade graduation.

Response to Chinatown violence
Please read our DEI statement and City Council President Nikki Fortunato Bas and Lincoln Square Recreation Director Gilbert Gong’s joint letter in regards to the Chinatown violence that has been going on recently. We want everyone to know that we at Lincoln Elementary will stand together and in solidarity to overcome hate and violence.
Help GDP Provide COVID-19 Relief to Lincoln Families
The Golden Dragon Project is working together with community donors, Lincoln teachers and staff to support our families who are experience food and financial insecurity as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. GDP and other community donors have supported 213 families through over $20,000 in donations in the form of grocery gift cards since April 2020. We’re asking for donations to the Principal’s Discretionary Fund to support continued assistance to our families in need. To donate, please click here.

The Rosita Young 4th Grade Camp Fund
The GDP is proud to sponsor Lincoln Elementary’s annual fourth grade field trip in honor of Rosita Young, the teacher who spearheaded the tradition of 4th grade camp, who recently passed away. Contributions to the fourth grade fund should be made payable to the “Golden Dragon Project.” Please indicate the “Rosita Young 4th Grade Camp Fund” on the memo line.
